I really enjoyed this insightful and wise story. I don’t think I have ever read a simpler or more accurate description of moving through grief. The analogy of the cat resonated with me-so simple but not always easy.

Thank you so much, Sharon. I was able to invite the cat to help me through a painful interpersonal situation. My sister who is turning 88 and bed bound has a cat who lies in bed with her and is so generous with her loving.
