Is there ever love without loss? Yours came with a sharper knife than many. Sorry about that part.

Wonderful story. Thank you. I have just fallen in love with a cat and recognized the markers. Love is always worth it!

I'm a little slow on the uptake, duh. What a terrific story and so beautifully written.

The mystery was not that it was a cat but rather the chance meeting that brought you together. What a wonderful tribute to love.

Love the premise, I would have fallen for a dog.

At first I thought it was a dog. I was smug, chuckling through the story. But no, a cat of course. Lovely.

You had me until you so easily invited him in, me a cat lover all my life and you had me imagining him until the door opened then…..cat? Dog?….loved this, I should have guessed sooner! Kudos!

well that quite the early morn brain twister requiring more coffee to catch on early when reading! that was a whole big story that spoke volumes with in essence very few words. and yes, chapeau to the prowess of the author to be able to do that!
