This is a lovely post, Erica and Alice. It is true that we feel ageless and never change no matter our age. When I look in the mirror I still see the young girl, the young mother, the younger me. It must have to do with our soul and staying relevant and having the good fortune to be on this earth a few more years.
I enjoyed this story. Last night I watched episode eight of the fifth and last season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, in which she and her friends go back to a reunion at Bryn Mawr. She wasn't 75 but she did go into the dorms and freaked out the undergrads.

Love this piece. It's frothy but deep...like digging into a pudding with whipped cream on top. Enjoyed every spoonful.
