Well God damn boy!! that was something ! A real joy to read !

Actually reminds me a lot of an experience I had back in my teem years as a surfer competing in a summer surf Competition in casablanca, I actually gave an entire speech about that story back in 2020 at the SWS club.

It's safe to say, I can relate brother.

Bravo Barry! You are the winner! What you did was by far more important than a trophy or blue ribbon. We all can learn from your challenge. You didn't quit. You passed along the encouragement you received to others. Great lessons. I believe in competition to bring out the best in myself and I believe in helping others be their best also. It is a win-win.

How old were you exactly, when you did this crazy thing? My son did the Tough Mudder a couple of times and even got cellulitis the first time. Bravo to you.

Thank you, Ruth.

I also did the Tough Mudder once, a lot of fun!

I was 63 when I competed in the second Spartan Beast that I wrote about.
