It makes me feel more human when I connect with people other than those in 'my circle.' Most folks respond in a positive way. It's sad for those that don't/can't.

Be careful what you wish for. We arrive in Kingsburgh for five days last week of August and may just take you up on that - or invite you over. You live in God's country and are clearly a consummate host!

So true, excellent text. We love to meet new people and introduce new to old friends. Indeed memorable dinners around candles, good wine and "no trouble" dinners. Tell your brother that "far" has many meanings depending on who's looking.

I agree totally and catch myself in the 'not look up mode', but when I engage, it is delightful. I have met some wonderful, entertaining people over the years, and yes, some of us stay in touch. Thank you for this reminder that does not rob us of anything.
