Happy New Year, Alice! I look forward to reading more stories in the coming year. Thank you for the light you shine from this wonderful project called A Considerable Age.
If I remember correctly Alice, Hercules was known for his courage, ability to accomplish daunting tasks, and his great soul - seems you have a lot in common, dear friend.
I felt like you were telling me this by the fire, Alice. Thank you for all the given Sundays. And happy new year from Tahoe where there is also no snow...
Wonderful and inspiring message. I do enjoy your words on a Sunday morning- this one full of light and sunshine, finally, here on Vancouver Island. Thanks Alice and best wishes for 2024.
Thank you for this lovely message, Alice - just what I needed on this pretty gloomy, grey-skied last day of 2023. We have to keep looking for the light - which always requires that we acknowledge the darkness. Tough to do, for sure - community helps. So does speaking out about our little triumphs wherever, however they show up.
I love all the different stories, writers, etc. I am beyond grateful for all the people and things I have in my life. My heart aches for those in war torn places, suffering from illness, poverty, discrimination and/or just plain bad luck. I try to cherish every moment and will continue to try to do so as we move from 123123 to 010124.
Dear Alice, I have cherished the weekly postings in A Considerable Age. You are not only a wonderful editor, but also a beautiful writer. I can’t wait to read your book! Sending love from Second Peninsula. 💗
Alice - I am most of all grateful for the ‘light’ in my life afforded by family and friends. And by taking of that, I know I am not extremely fortunate. The year ahead will be strange beyond measure. I think family and friends will provide the solace to get us through. Love to you and Jon. H
Lovely idea
Keep it coming, Big Al!
